Windrush, Wardens Way Circular – Walk 1
This circular walk from Bourton on the Water takes the Wardens Way west through picturesque villages and across the North Cotswold hills to Naunton. The return on the Windrush Way follows the River Windrush and take us through sheltered valleys and pleasant woodland. Bring a packed lunch.
Good footwear is essential as the route includes some hills and the river valleys may be muddy. Car parking at Station Road and Rissington Road car parks in Bourton.

This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.
